Do you take appliances that still work?
Yes. We try to donate them through our partner network (Love Columbia and our other community partners) before recycling or disposing. If the unit is working when we pick it up, there is a good chance it gets a second life with someone who needs it.
Do I need to disconnect the appliance before you arrive?
Yes. For your protection and ours, appliances must be disconnected before our crew arrives. We are not able to disconnect water lines, gas lines, or hardwired electrical connections. If your appliance requires any of these disconnections, please arrange that before we arrive — a plumber or electrician can handle it quickly. Once disconnected and ready to move, we take it from there.

Can you remove an appliance from a basement or second floor?
Yes. Stair carries are included in the price. There is no stair fee. We have moved fridges out of finished basements that had to be tipped sideways and walked up by hand. If the access is exceptionally tight, mention it on the quote call.
